You just can’t keep a good plant down. This is a sneaky little tendril from the wisteria plant that was hacked down when I was just a young sprout myself. It, and a relative further back in my yard manage to sneak back in every summer. I could have sworn I got it all this time, but as you can see … the beautiful purple flowers are gorgeous smelling (if you have the strong & sturdy trellis or fence to hold them!)
