do:
– lean aggressively downstream
– put a hand against the rock to stabilize
– continue to lean and use your hand to either pull forward or push backwards to slide off the obstruction
don’t:
– lean upstream, it lowers the canoe ganels or kayak cockpit to catch water and instantly flood.
